London has poorer levels of wellbeing than elsewhere in the UK. Many Londoners don’t receive treatment for their mental health difficulties, straining public and private resources. In this session, guest speaker Jennifer Bagehorn will look at how service design can be used to co-create an ecosystem of mental wellbeing services for the city of London. Instead of duplicating channels and creating another platform, Bagehorn and her studio imagined a solution that distributes services into the digital communities that Londoners already inhabit.
Jennifer Bagehorn holds a M.A. in European Design from the Master of European Design Program at KISD – Köln International School of Design, the Glasgow School of Art Product Design Department, and the École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle Paris.
She recently works as a service designer for live|work, a design studio with branches in London, Oslo, Rotterdam, Sao Paulo, Helsinki, Beirut, and Brussels.
